Life-Changing Spas
|
|
The newly opened spa is rather deluxe, but done in a simple, eco style, with top-notch therapists on hand to help improve guests’ everyday life. The food is all vegetarian; diary products, caffeine, alcohol and smoking are banned. In the village-like 12,000m2-spa, with Ayurvedic, Indian, Indonesian and traditional Chinese sections, guests first see an Australian naturopath, and then embark on a ‘Life Passage’ programme, seeing an iridologist, consulting a hypnotherapist, working out with (or just staring at) a handsome fitness god, Bryan Hoare, and learning the Russian invented Buteyko method of breathing, which is huge Down Under, helping sufferers of asthma and sleep apnoea. Seven nights at Six Senses, all inclusive with flights, cost from £3,875 through Cleveland Collection (0845 450 5732)
